Tharushi Desilva
Tharushi is a Sri Lankan-American poet, aspiring novelist, and a champion of South Asian art. She recently graduated from Barnard College in December 2025. She worked as an Assistant Project Manager of The Writer’s Conservatory and served as Submissions Editor for Barnard’s Open Access Undergraduate Journal, Meliora. When she is not working on her novel or Ratri, she is looking for jobs in publishing and bingeing her favorite international teledramas.

Eesha Rao
Eesha Rao is an Indian poet and writer. She recently graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University, where she studied English and Creative Writing, and served as Editor-in-Chief of Meliora: A Journal of Barnard English Theses. She currently interns at Restless Books and serves as a reader for Volta Magazine. She is the recent recipient of the Amy Loveman Memorial Fund Prize for best poem written by a Barnard undergraduate. When not writing, she can be found with a cup of hot chai, watching old episodes of Psych, and forgetting to develop the film of her many disposable cameras.

Puja Desilva
Puja is a Sri Lankan-American visual artist, currently enrolled in the Macaulay Honors Program at CCNY. Puja is aspiring to be an exhibit designer or museum curator, hopefully for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Puja’s work is heavily inspired by anime, South Asian culture, and the beauty found in nature.

Ariana Vidals
Ariana Vidals is an aspiring Mexican-American writer and poet, writing for projects like Poetry in Motion but mostly for herself. She is currently completing her undergraduate degree at Wagner College for English and Education and hopes to graduate this spring!

Diana Vidals is an aspiring writer and a great admirer of the arts, film and music. She has previously written for publications such as Gut Instinct Media and BroadwayWorld . She recently graduated from Wagner College with a degree in Arts Administration and a minor in Writing!

Deanna Duran
Deanna is a Filipino-American student, aspiring social media marketer, and graphic design enthusiast. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at Baruch College and expects to graduate in 2029. Deanna works as a Marketing Assistant for her family’s dessert business, Lick It Right, where she helps develop creative marketing strategies and engaging content. She was also involved in the MOBster Program at Baruch College, which supported her growth in the marketing field. Outside of academics and work, Deanna enjoys exploring marketing job opportunities and playing her favorite video games.

Fauziah Uddin
Fauziah is a Bangladeshi-American writer and aspiring novelist, born and raised in Queens, NY. She is a current student at Barnard College, studying English and Human Rights, interested in creating and supporting work at the intersection of both. When she is not in school or writing, she enjoys watching films or rewatching her favorite sitcoms.
